Admission Process

We recommend that you first call RHS and schedule a tour of the school. RHS is open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Please let us know when you are free and we'll do our best to schedule it during that time. Tours are for parents with or without your children and include a brief overview of the school, showing you around and answering all your questions. Tours typically last about half an hour to an hour.

Admission Policies
Rancho Heritage School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or disability in the admission and educational policies, financial aid programs, employment practices and other school administered programs.

Rancho Heritage School considers each child as a unique individual. RHS’s admission decision is based on age, maturity, successful completion of previous grade.

Birth Date Entry Requirement
For admission into RHS preschool program we are looking for children to be two years old. For admission into RHS Kindergarten the birth dates alone does not always determine developmental readiness. If a child applies who has a birth date within a few weeks of the school year, we will invite a family to bring their child in to meet with our Admission Director for an assessment. However, this assessment appointment does not ensure enrollment acceptance into the school.

A child's birth date is only one of the factors the admissions director takes into consideration when making an admission decision. Careful thought and consideration is taken with all candidates.

It is sometimes recommended, for a child with a younger birthday, to remain in the preschool another year before entering our kindergarten program.
